My vision for Niceville is to maintain a peaceful and safe place where citizens are happy to live, work and raise their children. I would like to maintain and help responsibly manage economic growth in the best interest of citizens who live here as well as for those who might hope to make this their residence.

Niceville Fire & Rescue proudly protects 22000 people living in an area of 14 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status.

Dr. Alexis Tibbetts was elected Superintendent on November 7, 2006. Since that time, she and her administration have focused on three key goals: - ensuring that all Okaloosa students have the opportunity to maximize their academic potential and closing the gap in academic performance; - improving math and science education through new initiatives in grades 3-8; - reducing costs so that taxpayers can continue to receive an outstanding return on their investment in the future of our youth.
